shall blog on something happy.
this is something that i wanna blog since MONTHS ago. :x
but cause of my lousy router, i couldn't publish long post, and that's why i still haven't get to blog it.
now that the router problem is settled, here am i...
14th February 2007 : VALENTINE'S DAY
that morning, i woke up early to finish up with my present for my dearest. :)
while doing halfway, "DING DONG!" somebody rang my doorbell. i peeped out and saw a pretty lady with a bouquet of roses on her hands.
i opened the door and she said, "is Alicia in?"
me: "yea?"
her: "your bouquet of flowers"
me: "uhh. okay. hold on for a while" -grabbed my keys-
she passed me the bouquet and TA-DAH! the roses on MY hands! =D
girls are always happy to receive flowers, isn't it? though some may feel that it is a waste of money.
the irritating thing came.
i was already RUSHING to finish up the present, my door bell actually rang THREE times for that morning.
FIRST TIME ever. why so many people ring my door bell when i am NOT free!
first was the flower delivery.
next was the environmental person to check on mosquitoes.
last was my neighbour who dropped her clothes on my window and asked me to help her take.
DOTS...
the present for him. :)
inside the box:
i put a handphone keychain engraved with MY name right underneath and folded hearts to cover it.
inside those hearts are messages when he went for reservist.
1 day 1 heart. :)
however, i didn't write for all the days when he was away for reservist. was too lazy and tired to note down every single day last time. BUT BUT BUT, most of the days are there! =DDD
i actually made the handphone keychain as a couple keychain.
mine engraved with "Michael" and his engraved with "Alicia".
we slacked at my house till 4+ before heading to Marina Square.
Walked around and we headed to Jack's Place for dinner where he already booked a table.
The whole Jack's Place is reserved for Valentine's Day, which means 9/10 of the seats are actually for 2s. HAHA.

first to serve was the appetisers which was mango salad. i forgot to take a photo of it, so yea. NO picture for that :(
Our drinks. forgot the name for it. its NICE though.
tomato soup with garlic bread. Not really nice. I drank only like 1/5 of it. :x
the main course.
on the left is Salmon.
on the right is Lobster with Chicken Chop.
then comes the desserts.
i LOVE the heart-shaped cheesecake(?)
forgot what cake is that. haha. :x
and also, the hot milk tea.
i LOVE milk tea. but i don't drink hot one, and i was already very full by then.
after the dinner, we went to walk along the river next to Esplanade, and settled down to chit chat. :) home sweet home around 10+pm.
here comes my valentine's day present from dearest. -grins-
boyfriend actually got this Pooh bear from the arcade. spent $3 and he caught this. but unfortunately, he wasted $8 in total cause he wanna catch another one after that. -.-''' moral of the story: don't be greedy. LOL.
the Mango denim skirt which i been eyeing for WEEKS. he knew i love this skirt a lot and he got my friend to test on me to find out which size i wear. ( i feel so stupid. how come i didn't realise that. :p )
and the bouquet of roses delivered to my house early in the morning! =D
12 roses in total.
attached to the bouquet is a little card. inside is the message given by my boyfriend, "I promise i'll be there for you when you need me. you're my everything. happy valentine's day." =D
and lastly, the big container which he put 99 folded hearts inside.
the container isn't that big afterall, but he can actually squeeze the denim skirt in. -.-'''
i folded hearts for him, he folded hearts for me too!
